We took our tour of Target Field yesterday, and it was awesome. I've been there before, but many of the places in the facility I had never seen and didn't know about. One of the things that was really interesting was all the different clubs and VIP areas that are there. I can imagine that it would be really awesome to have the cash to be in the legends club or one of the special groups that enjoy all of the perks that one would expect for the tens of thousands of dollars it costs for the season tickets.
We saw some memorabilia from world championships of the past. I remember the parties after the games, with all the Twins in the parades in their fur coats when I was a kid. Those are some great memories.
We saw the actual model of the stadium the architects used before it was constructed.
We sat in the press box, and went down to the field level, covering everything in between. What a cool facility. No wonder why it's one of the best in all of professional sports.
